How did your time at the University of Pécs and your International Student Ambassador experience influence your current path?

My time at the University of Pécs, combined with my experience as an International Student Ambassador (ISA), had a profound impact on shaping both my career and my personal development. Studying in such a multicultural environment taught me how to adapt, connect across cultures, and think beyond borders—skills that are essential in my current work as a business consultant supporting NGOs, startups, and development organizations.

The ISA program, in particular, strengthened my leadership, communication, and community-building skills. It gave me the chance to represent the University, mentor new students, and organize initiatives that fostered inclusion and support. These experiences inspired my passion for youth empowerment, innovation, and entrepreneurship, which continue to guide my professional journey today. It also helped me build a global network, which I still draw on in my consulting work across different countries and sectors.

Could you write a short story or reflection about your time at the University of Pécs and how it impacted your life?

Studying at the University of Pécs and serving as an ISA shaped my global outlook, leadership, and resilience. It gave me lifelong friendships, a passion for impact, and the confidence to pursue a career in innovation, consulting, and youth empowerment.

What is one piece of advice you would give to current or incoming international students at UP?

Say yes to every opportunity, step out of your comfort zone, connect with people from different cultures, and don’t be afraid to shape your own path. Every moment counts!
