What are you currently doing?

I recently graduated from the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Pécs, where I studied Business Administration. At the moment, I am focusing on the next step in my academic journey and applying for Master’s programs in leadership and management. I am also helping a friend with startup marketing, using the storytelling and content creation skills I developed during my time at the faculty.

How did your time at the University of Pécs influence your current path?

My time at the University of Pécs helped me grow both personally and professionally. Coming from Bangladesh, I had to learn how to live independently, adapt to a new environment, and become more confident. Through student organizations, business competitions, and my role as International Alumni Coordinator, I learned that leadership comes from showing up and taking opportunities, even before you feel fully ready.

Could you write a short reflection about your time at the University of Pécs and how it impacted your life?

Pécs was the place where I learned independence, resilience, and the value of genuine connections. From late-night study sessions and international friendships to business competitions, student organizations, and professional experiences, every part of my journey helped shape who I am today. The University of Pécs gave me confidence, direction, and memories that I will always carry with me.

What is one piece of advice you would give to current or incoming international students at UP?

Say yes before you feel ready. Get involved, join organizations, participate in competitions, meet people, and do not be afraid if the beginning feels difficult. Struggling does not mean failing; it is part of growing. Your time at UP can open many doors, but you have to be brave enough to walk through them.
