What are you currently doing?
After graduating from the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Pécs, where I completed the five-year undivided Architecture program, I am currently continuing my academic journey as a PhD researcher. Alongside my research, I am also involved in mentoring, teaching, and international university initiatives.
Where are you currently living and working/studying?
I am currently living in Pécs, Hungary, where I study and work within the university community.
How did your time at the University of Pécs influence your current path?
My time at PTE helped me grow from a student into a researcher and knowledge creator. Through my architecture studies, research competitions, teaching assistant experience, and the support of my mentor, I discovered that academia and research were the right direction for me.
Could you write a short reflection about your time at the University of Pécs and how it impacted your life?
Pécs became much more than a place of study for me. It became my home and the environment where I experienced personal growth, professional development, and meaningful connections. The university gave me space to explore my curiosity, develop leadership skills, and become part of an international academic community.
What is one piece of advice you would give to current or incoming international students at UP?
Stay curious and take every opportunity that comes your way. PTE offers much more than a degree; it gives you a community, mentors, and experiences that can shape your future. Growth comes when you are willing to ask questions, challenge yourself, and step into new roles before you feel completely ready.
